OUR APPROACH
Price is a signal. Context matters.
- Start with an offered selection. The Linemate public preview supplies a side, line, upcoming event, prices, and supporting trend records. Coverage is a preview, not every available market.
- Compare the exact line. Find the best single-bet decimal price. For each other book offering both sides at that line, remove the margin: (1 / selection odds) ÷ ((1 / selection odds) + (1 / opposite odds)). Average at least three reference books.
- Calculate a price comparison. (Best decimal odds × reference probability − 1) × 100. This number compares market prices; it does not establish a profitable bet, and sportsbooks may share pricing sources.
- Keep history in context. Recent hit rates describe past games. They are not forecasts. Injuries, starting lineups, limits, geography, and later line changes may change the picture.
- Check the original source. Winible listings retain their access status. Locked posts link back to Winible; hidden picks are never inferred. Pick’em entries need their actual entry payout rules and are excluded from single-bet comparisons.
Sources refresh every five minutes when the collector is scheduled. Data older than 15 minutes is flagged. Recheck the offered line with the operator before acting.
